Sephora Favorites!

I'm truly a makeup addict. 

Let's just say Sephora is basically my second home. From foundations, concealers, perfumes, skincare and all the other magical over-priced items; you can never go wrong. 

You might break the bank but it's worth it. (at least that's what I tell myself) I'll take you through my MUST haves from my favorite brands below. 

MAKEUP

In my opinion, this is the BEST lip gloss brand. It's a plumping hydrating gloss that has a tingling sensation- imagine a cute fancier Blistex (you know those little lip balms we always lost back in middle school).

My favorite colors of the Full-On Plumping Lip Gloss ($21) are White Russian, Dolly, and Sandy.

  

Say what you want about bad gal Riri but she knows how to run a business (or 2. . .or 3) I'm honestly waiting for her to announce Fenty cars, Fenty phones, hell even Fenty insurance at this point. But you know what? The quality speaks for itself.

I have super oily skin so the Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($35) and the matching concealer is perfect for my skin. I wear the shade 420 in foundation and 410 in concealer.

Other than face products, the Killa-Watt Highlighters ($36) and Gloss Bombs ($18) (self-explanatory) are amazing staples in my collection. 

**Tip- I usually set my under eyes with the Fenty Beauty Setting Powder ($32) mixed with Too Faced Peach Setting Powder which keeps me matte all day. (unless it's over 90 degrees) 

If you really want your foundation to look like #skingoals then the Sheer Glow Foundation  ($47) is what you NEED. I wear the shade Marquises. 

The only con is that it doesn't come with a pump, which is the most annoying thing ever. Most Sephora stores sell the add-on pump for $6. Beware, the pump is ridiculously long so the foundation cover won't fit anymore (I wish I knew this before). 

                                    
You probably always hear about their famous Orgasm blush ($30), but as I am a deeper skintone it's not my go-to shade. A few faves that are deeper skin friendly are: Oasis, Lovejoy, and Blissful.

SKINCARE

This is my top skincare brand, my go-to for moisturizers, cleansers, primer, face masks AND cleansing oil. Oh yes. Tatcha has transformed my skin for the better. Although the price point is . . . steep, it's worth it. 

Do your research as everything that works for my skin, may not work for yours! Just remember that high prices doesn't mean it's better than drug-store products. I focus on high quality ingredients that will actually WORK, don't go wasting your money on any ole brand. 

                             

The products that helped my skin the most are: The Deep Cleanse ($38), The Water Cream ($68), The Silk Canvas ($52)

Drunk Elephant is one of those indie brands with quirky packaging, fun colors and weird ingredients to draw you in. More importantly, those high quality ingredients help nourish and hydrate your skin. You will never find parabens, sulfates, phthalates or any other harmful chemicals in their products. 

These products are some of their best sellers and I've repurchased them in the past: Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer ($68), Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser ($32), Slaai™ Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser ($34). 

                                         

As a plus, they are also vegan and gluten-free! 

Tip**- My 6 skincare steps are: cleanser, exfoliant (3x a week), toner, serum, eye cream (3x a week) and lastly my moisturizer. *Whenever I have a sheet mask I'll use it but it's rare. 

Tip**- Always pat your moisturizer and oils into the skin for better absorption.
